Head basketball coach at Bingham (1936-1953)

As head basketball coach he laid the foundation for Bingham’s winning traditions

Counselor at Mt. Jordan and Midvale Junior High Schools

Honored by the US Forest Service for his service to others while working 50 summers as a forest ranger in the Uinta Mountains

His heroism in saving the lives of two people was memorialized by the naming of two lakes after him in the High Uinta Mountains.

He emphasized the fundamentals and his techniques have been used by many who followed him.
