Head custodian at Bingham High (1937-1973)

Bingham High was his home both literally, since his house was physically attached to the school in Copperton, and figuratively because he devoted most of his life to the service of Bingham.

He always showed pride in Bingham by keeping the school clean and by spending countless hours helping to maintain it.

  He had a way of knowing when things were wrong with the school just by the way things sounded.

 He was helpful and always got things done.

 Once you were his friend, you made a friend for life.
