Bingham High School’s annual Candlelight Christmas Program will be held on December 16. 17, and 18, 2014 in the school auditorium. This year the music department is experimenting with some changes in the format of the Candlelight program. Instead of having a mix of different musical groups on each of the two Candlelight performances, plans call for having three performances of Candlelight with all the choral groups performing on Tuesday December 16, the band groups presenting their part of the Candlelight program on Wednesday December 17 and the orchestral groups playing the last part on Thursday December 18. The traditional singing of the Hallelujah Chorus will be on Thursday night. On December 16, the first night of Candlelight, the Candlelight Service Award will be presented. Receiving the award this year will be Janice Voorhies, a former English teacher at Bingham High and a current member of the Jordan School District Board of Education. This award is presented to those who have rendered outstanding service to Bingham High School. We invite all Bingham Alumni to attend this traditional Bingham High School event.
