BHS 1946 Football State Champions
The 1946 Miners nipped the Lincoln Railsplitter (now Orem) in a hard fought 13-12 title game and touted a season record of 8-0-1. The 1946 title was Sanisstevenan’s last in football, but in capturing this last title, he realiszed his dram of building a football dynasty, winning a total of four state champsionships – two of them in succession. In the process he established a winning tradition at BinghamHigh School and laid the foundation for furture football successes.
